Fake DG Matthew Adeniyi Adeyemi Faces Fresh ₦400 Million Bribery Allegation

Fresh allegations have emerged against self-styled Director-General, Matthew Adeniyi Adeyemi, following claims that he demanded and received ₦400 million in connection with activities linked to the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC).

The latest allegation surfaced during an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives’ Ad-Hoc Committee probing the council’s operations, where a witness accused Adeyemi of collecting the money under questionable circumstances.

Meanwhile, the development has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians commending the Federal Government for what they described as a swift response to the matter. Some users praised the administration of President Bola Tinubu for allowing the allegations to be investigated, while urging law enforcement agencies to ensure that due process is followed and anyone found culpable is held accountable.
